A Pledge is a non-binding commitment made in good faith. To make it easier for you to complete a pledge, we encourage commitments fulfilled over a three-year period. You may satisfy their commitments through monthly, quarterly, semiannual, or annual installments. Suggested options are below.
Appreciated charitable gifts of stocks, bonds, or mutual funds offer special tax advantages and are a great way to make a significant gift to St. Mary's Parish.
Donors over the age of 70 1/2 can make direct distributions of up to $108,000 annually from individual retirement accounts (IRA) and exclude the amount donated from taxable income. Donors may use this strategy to satisfy part, or all, of their required minimum distribution (RMD). Direct your administrator to send payments as indicated above for checks.
Gifts of property entitle a donor to an income tax reduction equal to the full market value with no tax on capital gains.
These are some of the other types of non-cash assets that can be used as gifts.
You may donate an old or new policy simply by naming St. Mary's Parish as the beneficiary.
This is the process of carefully selecting the best methods and assets for making a charitable gift. A planned gift can enable a donor to take full advantage of the tax laws to accomplish their financial and charitable goals. A bequest in a will is the most common form of planned giving.
A Matching gift program provided through and employer or board membership may allow you to increase the size of your donation. Many companies generously match the charitable gifts of employees, retirees, or board members. Other options include credit card*, bank account draft*, cryptocurrencies**, and oil/mineral interests**. For employer matching contributions, the tax ID number for the Catholic Diocese of Fort Worth Advancement Foundation is 27-0518360.

There are numerous items available, and the charts below reflect the item, number available, and gift amount required. This page will be updated periodically to reflect which items are still available.
For all naming rights and sponsorship items you MUST contact J.D. Steinberger to ensure the item you want is still available. He should be emailed at jd.steinberger@gmail.com.
All items with the exception of the Stained Glass Windows can be a three-year pledge, but there is an initial down payment required and that should also be coordinated with J.D.
Stained Glass windows require a 10% down payment and must be paid in full by June 30, 2026. That date is based on the time needed to create the windows with the naming inscription so they will be ready for installation at the necessary time.

You may be asking why is the last update from December? The answer is with donations coming in from both pledges and one-time payments and some being turned into the church office while others go through the Advancement Foundation it takes time to get updated reports. Please know we are committed to getting you the information as so as we have it so everyone knows the great progress we are making.
